Can MLM recruiting be done effectively with a blog?
Yes, it can!
As I explained in Part 1 and Part 2 of this series, it will work if you do things properly and give it time.
In this third post of the series, I’m going to add some more vital information and review the fundamentals one last time.
If you’re serious about doing this (and you should be), it’s crucial that you absorb and apply this knowledge. You really need to ‘get’ all this in order to succeed.
Are you ready?
If so, then read on!

The Do’s and Don’ts for Every Blog Post
Remember your goals – and – the mistakes that will hurt your site!
They are:
1) Satisfy search intent. Get in the mind of your audience so that you know what they’re searching for. You want your content to solve their problem.
2) Structure every post around a primary keyword. A ‘keyword’ can be more than one word, by the way. For example, the post’s keyword is ‘MLM recruiting’.
That keyword must be in the headline and in the first sentence of your introduction.
3) Use secondary keywords as well. For this post, they are ‘MLM recruiting with your blog’ and ‘MLM recruiting with a blog’. Weave those (sparingly) into the body of your post.
Do you see how they’re related to the primary keyword?
4) Never Over-Use keywords. This is called keyword packing. It’s an amateur thing to do, Google doesn’t like it and neither do readers.
5) Write for the Internet. No one is going to read your post. They’re only going to scan it.
Huge walls of body-copy are a big no-no. Use short sentences and paragraphs.
One or two sentence paragraphs are fine. More than that and you’ll bore your reader.
Which brings me to…
6) NEVER be boring! That’s a cardinal sin.
Make your points quickly and succinctly and design your post to be scanned for interesting stuff. People are in a hurry.
Quality subheads are vital as they guide the reader through the content.
Break up your text with images. Visuals are very important.
Advertising banners are OK too, so long as you don’t overdo it.
7) Don’t write about the wrong topics.
This goes back to #1.
Your MLM recruiting blog will fail if you stray off topic.
If your post doesn’t address ‘what’s in it for me?’, then you’re off topic.
8) Your headline is the most important thing.
You only get one chance, so make it count. A good content creator spends at least 20% of their work on the headline itself!
It must include the keyword and an irresistible implied benefit for clicking on it.
Don’t make it too long or it will be truncated in search engine results.
To check it, use this tool.
9) Your introduction is also critical.
It’s second only to the headline in importance. They clicked on your headline via a search engine – i.e. they took the bait.
Now set the hook. Do it wrong and you’ve lost them.
REMEMBER: satisfy search intent.
Keep it short – between 50-150 words (and with ZERO grammatical errors).
It needs to effectively transition the reader into the main body of your post.
10) Your closing is also very important.
Never title it ‘in conclusion’, ‘in summary’ or ‘in closing’.
Much like your intro, keep it short and include the keyword in the first sentence.
Don’t say anything new in the closing.
Its sole purpose is to prompt the reader to action.
There are various ways to do this, but the most important thing is to motivate the reader to act right now.
11) Last, but not least…
Never use a free platform. Get your own paid domain name.
The name of your blog matters. It needs to be short, to the point and
help search engines find you.

Make Every Post Count
You work hard on your blog contents, so make it work for you!
Your MLM recruiting blog has an obvious goal, but your reader has a goal too.
Never forget about search intent. That’s Rule #1.
‘You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink’. Have you ever heard that?
Leading (in fact, leadership in general) is what you’re doing as a blogger. But you can only lead people to do what they already want to do.
NEVER FORGET THIS: Nobody wants to join your downline. They want you to join theirs!
However, once you develop a following from your free and (genuinely valuable) content, people will start looking at what you’re involved with.
Over time, this will begin having a snowbell effect.
The bottom line is that this form of leadership (and, ultimately, recruiting) starts with being a servant first. Does that make sense?

Dealing With Burnout and ‘I’m Too Busy’
You’re going to have to stay focused on your goals. It can be hard, because this thing called ‘life’ can get in the way.
There’s no easy answer for this because blogging involves a serious commitment of time and focus.
Distractions like your job, kids, friends & family (and tons of other stuff) can get you off track.
Well, guess what? Join the club!
Everyone’s in the same boat. Success at this means designing your lifestyle around your goals.
When you lose focus (or motivation) get it back. Do whatever it takes, and it’s mainly about organization.
Why do really busy people always seem to get things done so quickly and efficiently?
HINT: they’re not any faster than you are.
They just take fewer steps, because they’re better organized and they prioritize daily tasks.
Another saying I like is, ‘If you want to get something done, give it to a busy person’. The reason for this is something called Parkinson’s Law.
It means that the more time you give yourself to do something, the longer it will take to get it done.
Seriously.
If you give yourself all day to get something done, that’s how long it’ll take – all day!
So, if you’re falling behind on meeting your goals you need to fine-tune your daily habits/rituals – as in shorter deadlines.
There’s kind of a compounding effect to this as well. Since good habits build on themselves, you just become better and better at getting things done.
